Progressive Toni
Count the number of progressive and liberal statements Toni Abela makes in this interview, from complimenting his interviewer for her dress a la Berlusconi to saying that every party club should ensure that representatives of the sezzjonijiet nisa u veterani are included. There was no sezzjoni LGBT at the time.
And what is it with these so-and-sos and their books? Reading must be such an unusual thing where they come from that they have to make a meal of it and pose with their books for publicity shots.
Dak jaqra ta, Alla jbierek!
And what do you know, the books are always what they think is ‘intelletwali’, with nothing contemporary to be seen. It leaves me with the impression that they still equate reading with ‘studju’ rather than doing it for fun, in which case they would even read the cereal packet, as I do.

Anke Joseph kien tajjeb fl-iskola.
Ara Anglu, differenti, dak aktar kreattiv.
Why is he reminding me ib Stephen Lewis?
I thought I was the only nut who read the cereal packet. In truth I generally read anything in sight…
So do I. It’s a useful way of picking up information that might seem irrelevant at the time.
The front page of Wikipedia (updated daily) is also a great source of such information.
PS: I apologise for my grammar in the parent post.
Horrible little man.
Ah, such a sophisticated smoothie. The ideal keeper of the skip. I hear he’s good with puppets also.

The non lower middle class leader who wants to open a MLP supermarket!
Bluff seems to be the emphasis at the Labour Party, these days. Keep on bluffing!!
Check this out. It’s hilarious and yet depressing. http://www.azzopardinicky.com/2011/11/winning-at-stupid.html#more

Is Brit TV in such dire straits ? They should have a dose of what is offered on Maltese television, (including the shopping channels, Kalamita and Alfred Zammit.
That article wins special award for “New Boring”.

Meantime, Marlene Mizzi charges exorbitant fees for her party’s trade fair. I don’t want to imagine what will happen to those who won’t pay.
Do I take it they won’t be considered part of the family?
A Labour Party trade fair? Surely that’s an oxymoron?
They will be selling truckloads of 2008 general -election posters of Alfred Sant with the “Mexxej tan-Nazzjon” änd “Prim Ministru|” captions as collector’s items.
A Labour funfair is more like it. With Jaffrey in charge of the roller coaster.
I cannot understand this obsession with wearing trousers which do not match the blazer. Blazers should be worn with grey flannel trousers in winter or white ones for a more casual look when, for example, out to lunch on Sunday by a river. But light blue trousers with a dark blue blazer, and one which is far too big? Alfred Sant used to dress like that when he was prime minister.Politics should not be a fashion statement, but presentation is very very important.
They can’t even manage their own personal wardrobe, so how can we expect them to manage our economy?
