Mrs Michelle Muscat had a very busy day yesterday

High Tea in the presence of Mrs Muscat

In the thick of all this confusion about her husband’s determination to wreck Malta’s reputation by selling passports for cash, Mrs Michelle gave a press conference announcing a fund-raising ‘high tea’ to be held in her presence in her husband’s office, the Auberge de Castille, which she has turned into just another ven-yew (she’s already hosted a fashion show there and a cocktail party for the purveyors of shoes and clothes, and those are just the ones we know about).

Then in the even she set off for the Aviation Museum in Ta’ Qali where the Pink Fashion Show was held, watching girls parade in clothes while her husband sets fire to Malta’s reputation. A member of my international worldwide network of spies dispatched this photograph to me from the fashion front.

    What Pink Fashion Show?

  2. mm says:

She seems to be fond of pearls.

I bet those are Primark pearls she’s wearing.

Is the CHOGM in Sri Lanka taking place in the presence of Mrs Michelle Muscat?

If it is not, then it definitely should. It is already proving farcical enough as it is. One would not mind further dosage.

Suggest one gets some background news from the BBC or SkyNews about the matter.

  5. Tea Queen says:

There is a polar difference between “high tea” and “afternoon tea”… the latter being what Madame Michelle was probably aiming for.

But she is possibly more accustomed to “high tea”, and thought that one was the other. What would she know?

Can someone tell me what the hell this woman knows about fashion beyond the occasional “America’s Next Top Model”?

It’s more than just knowing what you like. And judging by her past and present outfits, she really isn’t one to set a trend. At least she shouldn’t be allowed to.

What on earth is she doing hosting fashion shows? Just so that she can sit there and look at dresses she is never going to wear, or rather shouldn’t because they are modelled on the bodies of 16-22 year-olds?

What a waste of money. Imagine if someone within the PN administration were to have done this. The Labour Elves would be out in full force accusing the PN of squandering the tax payer’s money.

But of course it’s the PL doing it, so they’re all right with it, aren’t they.

That is why the PL are not socialist in the slightest. They are not bothered by the principles of a movement they claim to be part of.

They are just after the glamour side of things, and they know that their supporters are too so they fuel the delusion that life, especially the so-called “glamorous life” of models and fashion, is all about being a socialite.

It’s as if Mrs Muscat watched Paris Hilton’s reality show mixed with “My Sweet Sixteenth” and took down notes so that she knows what sort of deluded and ignorant behaviour to emulate to identify with her and her husband’s younger supporters.

    – Knock knock.
    – Who’s there?
    – JPO, come for his high tea.
    – High tea?
    – Tea that gets you high.
