The deputy prime minister: there has been a rare sighting tonight

There has been a rare sighting of the deputy prime minister (do you know who he is? I bet you’ve forgotten) tonight in parliament.

Of course he wasn’t actually in parliament. He went in briefly then disappeared, probably to his office but possibly out to supper.

    So this must mean that the Labour Party is not going to keep to its word about paying parliamentarians on the basis of how often they actually go to parliament.

    Obviously still affected by his airline days. He makes a flying appearance and then he takes off.

    Perhaps he was on sick leave. I wonder why he went into Maltese politics in the first place. He is too old to be stressed.
