A massive meeting of China’s Communist Party begins today in Beijing. They are going to discuss corruption and the rule of law, but they are not going to make themselves subject to any measures – just other people.

It will all be in accordance with the decades-prescribed, and dutifully followed, ceremonials.
They will all have plenty of rubbish to talk about.
They will all have plenty of standing ovations to tire out themselves with.
They will, however, all live ‘happily’ ever after. Until…..!
I wonder who the scapegoats will be this time round.
They will all clap in unision and on cue. After all lying is fine in China as long as you save face.
