Labour MP Agius Decelis sticks tongue out at Opposition MP Claudette Buttigieg, in parliament

Published: November 26, 2014 at 1:55pm

He’s not quite the full sandwich, but even so. Is this because Claudette Pace is a woman and not a gay man? Labour has always had serious trouble with women unless they’re plastered in make-up, flirting like crazy, pretending to be stupid and right up for it (bed). Or their mother and wife (home).

Maybe this is their idea of liberal progressive feminism: sticking out their tongue at a woman with brains and attitude who won’t do what she’s meant to do and keep quiet.

And now a word of advice to Mrs Buttigieg: don’t use things like OMG and LOL in public communication, not if you want to be taken seriously by those who count. Those who don’t count won’t even notice. Those who do count notice immediately and mark you down.

Clever women do not need to and should never use those sorts of abbreviated expressions to heighten their ‘stupid’ appeal. Clever women should never pretend to be stupid. If other people can’t deal with it, especially your archetypal Maltesemen, that’s their problem.

They will also become your problem, as I know only too well, but batting them off can sometimes be fun and dealing with their vindictiveness (and stuck-out tongues) is always better than having to pretend to be something you’re not: stupid and admiring.

Yes, Claudette, show that you are a cut above the rest. Professionalism always wins the day.

Are our MPs immune to sexual harassment charges in our house of parliament?

Is that a drag queen? The event lists a separate price for children, so they are obviously welcome. What trash.

Sound advice from Ms Caruana Galizia, Mrs Buttigieg. I can understand how such a gesture would have taken you by surprise but please continue on the up and up.

Some men would not know what to do with an intelligent woman if they were given illustrated step by step instructions. So eye on the prize please, but do let us know about such shows of statemanship and substance from the government benches because most of the media certainly won’t.

I saw him do that and I thought to myself ‘ Dan fidiel jew ?’

Have the Government MP’s completeley lost it? How else can one explain statements such as this?

”Air Malta chairman Maria Micallef was three times as good as former chairman Peter Davies, Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis said today.”

Can we see the calculation used to reach this conclusion?

Tony Agius Decelis is the person who together with Marie L. Coleiro Preca, under a Nationalist govt., arranged appointments at the Health Dept. for Labour followers to the detriment of the common people who were on the waiting lists.

  12. Adrian says:

Mrs Buttigieg is one of the best MPs on the Opposition benches and Labour are surprised by her diligence and brains. They look down at her because for them she is just the singer of “Desire”.

Some years back Professor Albert Fenech gave me an angiogram. He was assisted by Mr. Agius Decelis. He took one look at me and said “I know who you are.” This was a reference to my past in the M.L.P.

Rather than trying to calm me down while I was on the operation table, he continued to blab at me about why I left the Labour Party, and only stopped when Professor Fenech came to the table.

How terribly inappropriate, especially considering the delicate situation you were in. What amazes me is that such people do not understand when and where to shut up. You should have reported him.

The Labour Party is going to celebrate its centenary. The organizers of this celebration are visiting several parishes and asking the parish priest to celebrate a thanksgiving mass.

They expect the congregation to thank the good Lord for sending us such people as Decelis and the rest of the PL.
