Newsbook has since spoken to his other daughter, Michaela Cordina, who reiterated her contradiction of what her sister said in court, which she posted beneath a news report in The Malta Independent yesterday.

I highlighted it in my first post today.

Ms Cordina gave Newsbook a copy of the cassette of children’s songs which includes ‘Il-Hanzir’, and which she and her sister owned as children.

Her sister accused their father of making up a rhyme about a pig for the purpose of singing it at her because she was fat. She said that this caused her psychological damage to the point where she ended up still trying to get her O-levels at 20 (she stopped living with him at 11).

The court (ex Labour Party candidate Magistrate Joanne ‘Friend of Owen’ Vella Cuschieri) accepted this. Magistrate Vella Cuschieri’s brother has been a drug-addled, sub-literate loser since adolescence. How much compensation does she think her parents should pay him?
