The kestrel shot this morning – surrounded by upset children

Diana Triganza, a teacher at St Edward’s College, tells me: “We witnessed this bird being shot down on our grounds. A colleague said to us that it is a kestrel. We called Bird Life and they came for the bird. The boys are shocked by what they saw: six shots were fired, the bird was injured yet the hunter kept shooting.”
