The planned cruise liner terminal for Gozo
The government’s call for expressions of interest was for a yacht marina and/or cruise liner terminal, jointly or severally, but not for real estate development/housing/flats.
In other words, those expressing their interest could do so in the marina only, the cruise liner terminal only, or both together.
There is no mention of housing, holiday flats or similar.
The call was issued through Twanny Bronka’s Ministry for Gozo in June 2013, shortly after Labour came to power.
