Chris Cardona puts chief of staff’s daughter on payroll at Malta Gaming Authority

Cheryl Azzopardi, whose father is Chris Cardona’s chief of staff, has been put on the payroll at the Malta Gaming Authority, which is in Cardona’s portfolio.

Chris Cardona, Minister for the Economy, has put his chief of staff’s nephews on the public payroll – one, Gabriel Cutajar, at Malta Freeport and the other, Karl Cutajar aged 18, at the government’s new security guards company where he is in charge.

Now I can report that he has put his chief of staff’s daughter, a recent law graduate called Cheryl Azzopardi, on the payroll at the Malta Gaming Authority.

His chief of staff is Mario Azzopardi, owner of cheap boutiques Pardi and Scruples in Hamrun, Birkirkara and Paola.
