So exactly when did Konrad Mizzi buy his house in London?

In his declaration of assets a couple of days ago, Konrad Mizzi wrote that he owns a house and garage in London but did not say where.

Yet public records show Mr and Mrs Konrad Mizzi’s only address in London as Flat 97, The Oxygen, 18 Western Gateway, where they lived in 2010 and 2011. In 2012 and 2013 the flat was unoccupied and they were in Malta. He had returned in 2012 to campaign for the Labour Party.

In 2014 and this year, that flat was occupied by another two people, who were probably renting.

That flat might not have been Konrad Mizzi’s; he and his wife might have been renting too. But if they had a house in London, wouldn’t they have been living in it?

And if they were renting that flat from somebody else, and bought a house afterwards, why would they have bought a house in London just when they returned permanently to Malta?

This questions are pertinent because, on 20 March this year, that flat in which Konrad Mizzi and his wife were registered as living was sold for just over half a million pounds.
