The pits: Marco Gaffarena and his wife even swindle confused old ladies

The Malta Independent on Sunday reports today on a court judgement in which Marco Gaffarena, in league with his wife – then still Josielle aka Josianne Attard – and a sleazy notary swindled a confused old lady out of her Haz-Zebbug home by harrying her into a contract without assistance, telling her she would be paid Lm250,000 but making out the contract for Lm40,000 instead.

The old lady died in the aftermath, having sued Gaffarena for cheating her, and her heirs carried out with the civil suit and obtained judgement in their favour.

Marco Gaffarena, who redefines the description ‘amoral’, has appealed against the judgement. Never be shipwrecked with somebody like Marco Gaffarena because he’ll murder you for his supper to ensure his own survival.
