Who paid for Pamela Seychell to go to Los Angeles?

Questions have been left unanswered as to who paid for the prime minister’s wife and his two children to go to Los Angeles for the Special Olympics.

But to make matters worse, we now discover that the prime minister’s wife took her state-paid aide, Pamela Seychell (who is on secondment from the Public Registry) with her.

Who paid for Mrs Seychell’s flight tickets, hotel accommodation and expenses? Did she take holiday leave to go there or is she there on the Maltese public’s dime?
