Prime Minister & Michelle, Tourism Minister & Elena at San Lawrenz Hotel for Santa Maria

If you imagined for one moment that the Prime Minister is ripping his remaining hair out with worry over the power station debacle and the €360 million of public money that he has put at risk, and that the Tourism Minister is having sleepless nights about Air Malta’s impending doom, you are so mistaken.

They are currently on what is now their usual ‘Santa Maria’ break at the San Lawrenz Hotel in Gozo (do they pay?) and this time, Transport Malta chairman James Piscopo and his missus are there too.

As my source put it last night: “I’ve just spent the day at the San Lawrenz u nofs Kastilja kienet hemm, b’dak Piscopo b’kollox, jixrob il-cocktails. Ahjar jara l-bus lane.”

A different source tells me that yesterday evening the Fabulous Four – Joseph&Michelle, Edward&Elena – were at table with Gozo Labour politician Clint Camilleri and several others at the Sicilia Bella restaurant in Mgarr harbour, laughing and having a good time.
