Prime Minister Muscat pays Robert Musumeci €29,000 a year in consultancy fees

In response to a question put in parliament by Opposition MP Kristy Debono, the government refused to say how much, in euro terms, Robert Musumeci is paid as a consultant to the prime minister, but said he is paid “a fee equivalent to scale 4 of the civil service”.
Scale 4 of the civil service refers to full-time employment and yet Musumeci is being paid for consultancy what full-time scale 4 civil servants are paid as a salary.
That is €29,000 a year.
