Doctors sick to the gills of being told what to do by Labour apparatchiks working for government ministers

The Medical Association of Malta has issued a statement saying that it has had more than enough of being ordered to see patients by people working in ministers’ private secretariats.

Clientelism has sky-rocketed as doctors working for state hospitals and clinics are routinely and habitually pestered and ordered by those in ‘positions of trust’ to see crony patients ahead of those who are in the queue for appointments already.

Doctors are also harried by these same party apparatchiks to make house-calls to ‘special people’ even when those house-calls go against established procedure.
