Head of civil service/cabinet secretary to host concert with tunes from The Godfather and Evita

Malta’s top civil servant and cabinet secretary, Mario Cutajar – a political appointee and former General Workers Union operator who brought in from outside the civil service in March 2013 by the incoming Muscat government – has emailed all civil servants with news of a concert his office will host in Castile Place in early June.

It is a concert solely of excerpts from The Godfather, Evita and Phantom of Opera. They either don’t do irony at all – or they do it very well.
