Mr Pushbacks rings the changes with some hypocrisy

Tired of all this corruption? Mr Pushbacks decided to ring the changes today with some brazen hypocrisy instead.

The man who had to be stopped – by means of an injunction from the European Court of Human Rights and another one filed by around 60 lawyers in Malta’s Constitutional Court – from violating the human rights of a large number of people who came by boat from North Africa, today stood up at the United Nations’ Humanitarian Meeting in human-rights-violating Turkey and gave a mealy-mouthed speech about the humanitarian crisis.

Has he had a Damascene moment? No, the Prime Minister is simply the most cynical opportunist. When you don’t have any real beliefs or principles, you just say and do what it pays you to do at any given time.
