The Opposition should bring a motion of no confidence in the Commissioner of Police

All these motions of no confidence, actual and proposed, flying all over the place, and the most obvious one seems not to have occurred to the Opposition or Marlene Farrugia (or perhaps it did and they decided against).

What is truly required here is a motion of no confidence in the Commissioner of Police, actual or acting, for failing consummately to show any sign of willingness to do his duty and start investigations into the crimes being committed by the corrupt web in control of the country.

Michael Cassar, who took on the worst kinds of drug-traffickers, was afraid to do it and preferred to resign (those health reasons, I know for a fact, were just an excuse). And now this Lawrence Cutajar, with his glaringly obvious low IQ, fan-like admiration for Joseph Muscat, and large collection of football team badges, couldn’t be bothered and thinks it isn’t his job.

The rule of law has broken down. And bringing up the matter in parliament is the only way to drive home just how seriously bad the situation is.
