Corrupt appointments, joke appointments, the appointment of tools – it’s getting worse

John Bundy, a man whose only experience in broadcasting has been as the host of a bad radio show and an even worse television show on the political party-owned stations, is to be made chief executive officer of the public service broadcaster.

Forget his experience in broadcasting, because it’s his experience in managing an organisation that counts, and Bundy has none. Can you imagine him with a desk full of spreadsheets on costs and revenue? What a joke. But hey, we’re coming up to a general election, so of course we have got to have a tool in the top post at TVM, because the imperative here is not to get the public service broadcaster to function as it should in the service of the public, but to help with the re-election of Muscat, Cardona, Konrad Mizzi, Keith Schembri (except that this particular one is not elected and rides in on Muscat’s coat-tails) and the rest of the sleazy bunch.
