And Erdogan has lied about the EU not giving Turkey refugee aid

Click here if using a smartphone. Erdogan claimed a couple of days ago that the European Union is not giving Turkey the billions of euros it promised in aid for the three million Syrian refugees in that country.

But the EU responded yesterday that this is simply not true, and the money is being paid directly to aid agencies. It looks as though Erdogan wanted to get hold of that money directly.
