Here’s another Russian family who have bought Maltese/EU citizenship

Published: August 21, 2016 at 11:40am

They are Alexander Botvinov, his wife Anna Botvinova of Moscow, and their children Mikhail and Alexander Botvinov. If you scroll down to the last paragraph of Marie Benoit’s Diary of 22 January 2012, you will find an extravagant description of Anna Botvinova and her fox furs.

Their sons are at school in Malta, at St Edward’s and St Martin’s.

Mrs Botvinova owns and runs, through her company Bekkar Ltd, the Gallery Versal, which caters to distinctively Russian tastes. You can see what I mean in this YouTube video.

Bekkar Ltd, registered in Malta in November 2009 (C48190) is solely owned by Anna Botvinova, who is listed in the Companies Registry as a Russian citizen whose address is Flat 52, Block 16, Portomaso. She is also the sole director and legal/judicial representative. The company secretary is Maltese: Alessandro Aloisio.

The total bill for EU citizenship for this family of four Russians was €750,000: €650,000 for the husband, €50,000 for the wife, and €25,000 each for the teenage sons.
