Now TVM has axed Salvu Mallia’s show

They’re really taking the Erdogan route while talking about being liberal and progressive – as though the hallmarks of democracy are separate lavatories for transgender people and same-sex marriage, rather than freedom of expression and of association.

What price ‘transgender toilets’ when people are being axed from the national broadcaster for political reasons? Salvu Mallia’s show has been given the chop even though it wasn’t about politics or current affairs but about general knowledge, history, curious facts, that kind of thing.

But Salvu Mallia let rip publicly about the Panama Papers corruption, and we can’t have that, can we.

Not very clever of him and Marlene Farrugia to set up/associate with a competing party, though. By breaking up the Opposition to Muscat’s party, you’ll simply ensure it gets elected again. It’s not like Marlene Farrugia to be so useless at arithmetic. I don’t know how good Salvu Mallia is at sums.

If the ultimate aim is to get this bunch of corrupt pigs kicked out of office, then needs must when the devil drives – get behind the Nationalists, because anything that breaks up support for the Opposition increases the chances of re-election for Labour.

If you don’t believe me, ask Michael Briguglio to explain it to you. Nobody can accuse him of being a Nationalist, rabid, closet or otherwise.
