Pirates to govern Iceland

It’s all going to hell in a handbasket, isn’t it. The news broke a few minutes ago that the Pirate Party is to govern Iceland in coalition after coalition talks between ‘normal’ parties failed.

A general election was held at the end of October, in which none of the seven parties gained a clear majority.
