With regards to Gere being old and these pics being “from their prime”, Paul Newman’s snapshot would be one from “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and Richard Gere’s would be something fron “American Gigolo” (He was *fine* in that movie)

As for the list, I’m thinking Hugh Laurie and Gary Sinise?(I know, I’m weird…)

And in terms of this whole thing, the hottest men are the ones who continue to warm our hearts with breathtaking performances such as Pacino…

That is truely sexy!

@Cikki – Martin Shaw was much more fabulous in the late 1970s in the TV series Bodie and Doyle. I had a poster of him on my bedroom wall. Will see if I can find a pic from that era.
