Basically I told her that we are now all 10 years more mature.

It is the sign of consistency to change one’s mind in the face of changing circumsntances. And oh how circumstances have changed since I wrote the leaked memo!

All I can say is that George Abela probably knew Alfred Sant better than I did in 1998 but I have since caught up having added 10 years direct experience of AS.

Let no one condemn me of U-turns! I have been saying I don’t share other bloggers’ views as regards GA’s validity ever since he expressed the wish the enter the Labour Party’s leadership race.

Illum publishes Alf Mifsud letter to Sant, Mintoff turns up at George Abela’s meeting in Qormi. I sincerely hope this was a set up. However
I didn’t like Abela’s comment saying he was honoured to have Mintoff amongst his audience. “Honoured!!!!!” having that dreadful person around!!! It gave me the shivers down my back. Will we be taken up the same path of those aweful years should Abela be successful in his bid and possibly one day becoming Malta’s Prime Minister.
