New format looks slick but low marks for the search engine; it is not powerful enough. Don’t know if it is me, but the first post appears quite low in the page when you access the webpage.

How about a functionality, that you get with most forums, of receiving an email when someone replies to your post. This would be optional to receive, of course.

[Moderator – Thank you for your comment (I’m beginning to sound like one of those ‘product support’ robots). Search engine: are you trying to search for something in particular, and not getting the results you want? If so, what is it? Email notification: I’m working on the logic, which must be sophisticated enough to not email you one hundred times a day.]

I think the new format is very easy to read. The fonts used are easier on the eyes. Yes, the Last Posts are practical to have at hand, if it is an option. Thank you.

If you are still tinkering with the design, I for one, am missing the ‘Last Posts’ frame. Is it possible, if my fellow bloggers agree, to re-insert this?

I think the old format had a touch of elegance that this one doesn’t have, but I suppose the move was done for practical reasons.

Too bad about the kid gloves used in this post – surely Daphne could have referred to the worrying actions MF did in person – the hysterical and frightening speech recorded in Rabat and his ‘waiter, please come investigate my resident anonymous email dissidents’ attitude with the police, for instance.

But I suppose we can settle and call it par condicio in any case.
