Is it too much to ask our prospective Prime Minister why he didn’t vote in the referendum? Was it because he was abroad? Or, because he hadn’t had time? Or was it to copy the Leader?

The answer would surely help us (those who cared to vote for European Union membership) to understand more what he means when he says that his goal is to see Malta among the best in the European Union.

The report on defeat (which was a great job) has laid bare the incredible state of disarray in which the party now stands. And a lot of people didn’t notice the Mtarfa Local Council result – a split by Labour supporters took away votes and delivered the council into the PN’s hands for the first time. It is definitely a sign of things to come if the MLP don’t get their act together. At this stage, it doesn’t look likely.

Must have been obeying the boss. Then he ended up with a cushy job in the european parliament. Now he is aiming to be the leader of the opposition and in the future Prime Minister of Malta.
I am looking into my crystal ball and viewing a Labour mass meeting, with woman admirers up front waving their little red flags, not knowing what he is saying. They are just there to see their “Gustuz gingerman taghhom”
Joseph Muscat will be saying much the same as Alfred Sant, as we all know he is the poodle and proud of it.

If this farce continues to its foregone conclusion we will be having his wisdom teeth on our TV screens breakfast, lunch and supper time. Is it possible that a party with 50% of the national vote cannot produce a leader who has the potential to lead this little state of ours in the eventality that LG goes bananas on nearing 80 ? I am beginning to think that it would be better if Doktorelfrid comes back from the dead for a year or two until his fellow labourites are in the right state of mind to elect a successor with a DNA helix that is fit for purpose. They are presently suffering from post traumatic stress disorder which is rendering them incapable of deciding rationally.
