It’s just that in my opinion people seem to be reluctant to go for or against this issue. They just tend to remain on the sidelines. To my way of thinking ,they are tacitly wishing that these people would just disappear into thin air. In their hearts they feel compassion for these unfortunates but when they use their logic,they see huge problems and burdens for real day life. So they just don’t take a stand…..

Not to be a party pooper but does anyone else notice that whenever the immigrants issue rears its head, the comments on the blogs just dry up? Food for thought methinks.

And it seems that many of the signatories to his pAtition have given their name as ‘Anonymous’ and littered the remarks section with vulgarities and expletives. He’s best go over it a little before printing it out for Barack Obama.

Matthew: Dennis Catania’s pAtition is not the only action he’s taking. There’s also a string of protests planned: outside the office of the Maltese Ambassador to the UN, outside the EU office in New York, and (get this) at NBA matches where he hopes to target African Americans. Apparently he thinks he’s doing the Maltese prime minister’s job, though I can’t imagine why the job description of a prime minister of any country, let alone Malta, would include placards and protests at basketball matches in the USA.

Does Maltese have an equivalent word for “loser”? If not it’s about time someone made it up. I agree, this Denis Catania is a loser with a capital “l”. What a fool!
