To be fair to Emy Bezzina, he had to have this diploma to be able to represent his clients in annulment cases heard before the Church tribunal. I understand that, in spite of this, the Church authorities have never allowed him to work in their court which is, in my opinion, blatant discrimination. His role as a lawyer is distinct from his personal idiosyncrasies and the Church should respect this.
