Who is Austin Gatt to decide about the development or not of Dock No. 1? It should be the people of Bormla to decide NOT a foreign-to-Bormla person like Austin, with all respect. If he really wants to prove himself and his government as a democratic one, he should accept without compromise the wish and decision of the people of Bormla first and foremost. Bormla is the only city from the Three Cities that is still deprived of a decent waterfront. Who will develop it? We do not care who since it is done with all transparency and honesty. Why not invest with the Local Council and the people of Bormla to develop the Dock No. 1 area? After all it is the Local Council that represents the people of Bormla, whatever its political representation. That's the real democracy that is supported by the EU. Or is Malta different?
