I don’t think she’s been retained for eight years past official retirement age because of merit, either, but let’s not go into that or I might say something I shouldn’t. If I were in her position, I would sit tight, be quiet and be good. But it takes a certain degree of reprehensible arrogance to throw your weight around when you’re in that position. When I worked for my father’s business, he made a point of telling me that I had to be a model employee and God forbid I should ever be thought by others to be taking advantage of my position.
