Neither, for that matter, was the Green Party. However, because they believe themselves to be God’s gift to Maltese politics they could have cost us the EU in 2003.

Ditto Vince Farrugia who, by the way, is on record as describing the events of 1998, the premature end of the Labour government and the re-election of the Nationalists to office, as “unfortunate”.

Let’s look at it this way – at least Vince Farrugia was never against joining the EU unlike sweet Sharon. If that would not be embarrassing to the now pro-EU Labour Party, what will? But then it will take a hell of a lot to embarrass Labour, thick-skinned as they are.

Vince Farrugia is John Attard Montalto’s counterpart. He will be embarrassing the PN should he get elected. Any non-Nationalist with a few brain cells would vote for him, as he will do more damage to the PN than any astute, shrewd, and sharp MLP (or is it PL now?) MEP.

I look forward to the day when both Attard Montalto and Farrugia are elected as finally, the news on both political stations will be colourful and interesting to watch.
