Apparently on BondiPlus (or whatever it’s called) this evening, one of his fellow guests asked Muscat why he was not present at the state dinner organised in Eddie Fenech Adami’s honour. Wara l-qaghad idur mal-lewza, he eventually said something like “forsi jdejquni l-formalitajiet, u nippreferi mmur niekol hamburrrrrgerr ma’ tal-familja”. He’s sure to be one hell of an embarassment to Malta if he ever becomes prime minister. (Then again, so are most Labour contenders.)
