We were speculating what sort of person he could be when one of the girls chirped, “Ghandu wiccu ta’ laburist”. We burst out laughing because it sounded just right. It did turn out that he was a dyed-in-the-wool Mintoffian, but quite a pleasant person nevertheless.

Did I understand correctly “no matter what damage they wrought”? They will never change and forget any sincere apology for what happened in those dark days.

This is a typical Labour party language style which also reflects their aggressive body language.

They cannot express themselves in intelligible language and they therefore resort to violence, both in their style of writing and face-to-face debating. I can tell a Labour supporter from the first sentence he utters.
