Spot on, DCG! They’re over-the-hill people (mostly men in their 60s and SOME women aged 40 or more) trying to live the life they probably never had in their youth. You know – a kind-of last-ditch attempt at proving to the world at large that, yes, they have still got pulling-power. These people obviously have no kind of life other than their “virtual” one.
