It’s not a flock, it’s a group of MPs and Gonzi is a prime minister and not a shepherd. I don’t see why they should need controlling – one would imagine that they have enough sense and political acumen not to need a sheepdog.

Again not to break a lance for Robert, but in actual fact there were only 2 or 3 anti-Gonzi remarks which in my opinion are not even worthy of answers. The rest were in fact very favourable.

Having said that, I think that even though Facebook is a modern way to get in touch, it is not a medium ideal for persons who occupy a public position.

I’m referring to the Renzo Piano one. If you read all the comments underneath they all took it to be anti government and Robert did not contradict them or clarify his point. I agree that there should be open debate but it should be done using the proper channels and not Facebook!

If you are referring to the last status post on the wall, I do not read it as an anti Gonzi stand – in actual fact it makes sense. If all politicians (and political parties) are mature enough to build on each other’s good points and come together on a table to tackle hot and unpleasant issues, then I think that Malta would be an ideal place to live in.

Unfortunately, we have one party (for the moment nameless) that promises the roses without the thorns and thus we have a government that can rarely take the bull by the horns for the sake of our future.

What I am not sure of Musumeci, is whether all these status posts are really sincere or just an act – and this is what worries me.

It is clear that PN needs ten years of opposition to strengthen itself. The problem is that to do so Malta would need to be left in the hands of a bunch of nincompoops, headed by that insipid Joseph.
