According to The Times of Malta:
“She said she had organised parties for charity, and produced documents to substantiate her testimony.”

That doesn’t mean that all the parties she organised were for charity and it would not automatically mean that she wasn’t using this as a screen to hide her real intentions.

Freemasons also give money for charity, and Noel Arrigo used the kappillan of Haz-Zebbug to handle the dirty money.

I nearly forgot the name of Patrick Vella who just did what he had to do, without much theatrics. He kept a low profile and just admitted his guilt and served his sentence.
