If you can read, which I suppose you can, you can go to the National library (that’s in Pjazza Regina) and you can browse through the newspapers and read about what you, fortunately, missed during the ‘golden era’ of the socialist administration. You can also go to any booksellers and you can find books relating to that era. You cannot compare what happened last Monday with what happened in Malta’s dark ages (1971-1987). They are the same perpetrators with the same agenda. Only previously they could do what they liked because they were in power.

Labour seem to have conveniently forgotten him.

Not like me C.Galea. I remember what happened 30 years ago and also something significant in 1998: the fall of Labour government.

I never intended to ignore. But being in my late 20s today it’s difficult to remember which disgraces happened way back then. I only remember 1996-1998 when…… nothing significant happened?

Just because you’re young (I’m taking your word for it but flavouring it with a pinch of salt) does not mean you have to ignore what happened in the past. Comparing like with like means, for example, comparing the rabble which invaded Valletta last Monday with that which had invaded it on a darker Monday 30 years ago.

Let’s put it this way, I will not spend time or tears on Zeppi – besides what he did would not have been noticed by any journalist had it been anyone else. What I do say is that I do not agree with the court’s ruling.

With Sandro Chetcut’s case he attacked a public figure. Enough said.
