No Bates, being called ‘Leader’ is only third division stuff. He still needs to be promoted to ‘Mexxej’ (second division). First Division is only for those who get promoted to ‘Missier in- Nazzjon’ while Premier is for those who are The Great Teacher (a la N Korea). So you see, this boy still has a long way to go. Sant only made it to 2nd Division while MIntoff, try as he might, only got to first.
Let’s see where this pseudo personality cult leads to. It’s little things like these that remind me that very little has changed in the MLP, sorry, PL

She’ll soon be knocking on the PM’s door again, I think. Ah and I wouldn’t even be surprised if they actually take her back too. She seems to have gone from “chairwoman” to “char woman” in her “functionary” role.

Or, “an official of the Communist Party who was assigned to teach party principles to a military unit.”

Apparatchick: 1. a member of a Communist apparat; 2. an unquestioningly loyal subordinate, especially of a political leader or organisation.
