How does Tonio Borg come into this? It was Joseph Muscat who according to The Times suggested unilateral action (Saturday, 13 March 2010). “The time has come for action by the Maltese government, even unilateral action, to safeguard the national interest and the interests of Maltese families.”

Is Joseph seriously suggesting that Malta defiantly reaches unilateral agreements with Libya over visas? Do you seriously believe that unilateral action would be in the national interest?

You see, Minister Tonio Borg is holding meetings with other EU countries affected, so that is not unilateral action.

They’re one and the same. Mark my words: come 2013, Joseph Muscat will withdraw Malta from PfP, the EU military committee, the European Defence council, and the EUPM in Georgia. If anyone wants us to become the laughing stock of the world they should vote Labour.
