Hi there. I’ve been to Gozo several times now and I’m returning in October this year. I live and work at present in N. Ireland. I’m in my early fifties and have worked in various sectors including sales and the police. At present I’m employed in a local factory which is a subsidiary of the American company Caterpillar. My ambition is to live and work in Gozo as I love the little island. I would consider any type of work and would not consider anything too much of a challenge. I’ve been a member of British Mensa so I can pick most things up fairly quickly.

How come James Tyrell has missed out on this golden opportunity to put his viewpoint on this, directly and where it matters, by placing a comment on this blog? It is clear that James Tyrell has gone the way of ASTrid: heaps of war cries, but then dodging the actual battle. All bark and no bite: typical of PL members and PL supporters.

The couple you mention are resident in Malta and they pay tax and are registered to vote, which is correct.

I am Maltese, left Malta 30 years ago and I don’t pay tax in Malta nor have the right to vote.

When I renewed my ID card three years ago they told me that I cannot be entered in the electoral register because I do not reside in Malta.

In reply to jomar. Perfectly in agreement with your observation - I had the same thought when I saw it on PBS last night. Never seen a Chinese person sitting that way. They always sit with both feet touching the ground.
