To dig such a tunnel you need to have a remote SSH server to connect to and I don’t know of any available for free on the internet. This leaves you with only one option, that is to setup an SSH server at home listening on an unblocked port (may be 443 as 22 is normally blocked). Clearly not a job for the average user.

If proxy servers happen to be blocked as well, running a SSH tunnel is the way to go.

I am sure many government employees would be reading your blog instead of ‘working’. And who cares about the other blog? Maybe only the ‘faithful few’.

However, I think that the government would do itself a favour not to block your blog, at least most of its employees might learn how to write good English.
