Yes, every drop counts and it is likely that the rumour mongers never gave a drop to this particular cause, or even to any other. That’s the only charitable explanation for their inability to understand that some people do things because they want to and not because they’re paid.

Isn’t it that every drop counts? It needn’t be materialistic, no?

Well, spreading rumours is easy. What are the odds that the little green men and women haven’t ever a) made a donation to the school b) done anything useful without expecting payment in cash or in kind?

which hasn’t stopped nasty people with little green hearts from spreading rumours about the Wardija festival being a business deal for the Cremonas. For shame. They measure everyone with their own cheap and tacky yardstick.
