1. Dr Farrugia either writes the contents of his website or, at least, gives his consent thereto.

2. The University of Malta gave him a magna cum laude for his Magister Juris. One assumes that the UoM confers its degrees, and the level attained therein, after duly weighing the value of the thesis submitted.

3. It is inconceivable that a magna cum laude classification should be conferred to a thesis betraying the dismal level of literacy evidenced by Dr Farrugia’s website.

My only conclusion – and this is very serious – is that the author/reviser of Dr Farrugia’s website is not the same person who wrote Dr Farrugia’s thesis for the Magister Juris degree which he obtained with a magna cum laude.

I think that if any crime has been committed, it is now time-barred. But, politically, there is no prescriptive period.

If my hunch is right, the Maltese electorate should know the truth about the Deputy Leader of the party in opposition.

A structural analysis of the text of the thesis and the text of the website should yield a definitive opinion on whether they were/are written by the same person.

If Dr Farrugia did not write his own thesis, he should resign. And the University should denude him of the degree.

Judging by the site replete with grammatical mistakes, good thing he never made it to becoming a teacher. Then again …
