If they are refering to the late Archbishop Michael Gonzi, which to me is very unlikely, I really don’t understand what these people actually want to do with their party and their political beliefs in Malta? I say this in the context that when you open a polyical discussion with labour supporters, and you mention the atrocities and the misery and currupt life the Maltese people experienced in the 70’s and 80’s during labour administrations, they tell you ‘but that was the past and that was Mintoff and not the MLP’! Do they want to forget about the past or not? And if they want to forget about the past, is it because they are ashamed of what their party in government did during its time in office. Nationalists supporters are not ashamed of their past, and I strongly believe that all the nationalists think the way I do and we are all proud of the achivements our party in government managed to obtain for our Island.
