In reply to ghalliema. They did nothing special by introducing the children's allowance, minimum wage and pensions. They were just doing exactly what other countries had been doing for quite a while at the time.

I laughed so much when i saw this because during the last election my friends, university students, had prepared the same banner for the Dingli street mass meeting “Iz zghazagh ma Gonzi”.

This was after all the DNA and other issues, and in fact it was obvious that these new votes contributed to the win.

I still remember when on Xarabank after the election Joe Saliba gave the exact number of new voters, whilst Jason Micallef had no idea.
