Mountaineering is not a sport. Subutteo is, at least, a competitive event. However, “Maltese bladibla of the year” awards are a big flipping joke, whatever the heading. How about a posthumous award to the suicide victims of 2010?

Successive Labour and Nationalist governments have made “Paci fil-Mediterran” a central theme in Malta’s foreign policy on the basis that if there is trouble anywhere in the region, this affects the entire basin.
