I’m sure there is an entry in the malleus maleficarum on diabolically inclined bloggers and keyboard-brujas, no wonder the Holy See is setting rules for sanctifying blogs.

On that note, Bundy’s inquisition, in all their bungling rhetoric are making a stand against the enchantment of blogging which makes a hero of any gutless sod behind a keyboard – so you better be ready with those hexes, because he’s going to pull the pitchfork-and-torches act on you.

I wonder what’s all the fuss about Maltese politics. It’s almost a monopoly, (not a dictatorship), but a democratic monopoly. With just two political parties to choose from (I don’t consider the greens to be a valid political party – not yet dominant and probably never will be), offering in theory, a slight difference in their political shift: centre right and centre left.

In practice, they both betray citizens and when they’re in government, little is genuinely done for the good of the nation. Watching people fighting harshly for their respective party is sad.

Personally I’ve always found my way through, whoever was in governmnt, and never minded a governmnt’s policy as limiting me from going ahead in life. Never found fault in the government’s administration for failing to have enough money in my pockets.I believe Maltese are used to being spoon fed. Time to change that.

[Daphne – Michela, democracy is not linked to the number of parties you get to choose from. The two greatest democracies in the world, the United States and Britain, get to choose between two parties, or in Britain, two and a half. Italy, on the other hand, has a great number of parties, but nobody can say that it is a great democracy. It is a mockery of democracy. A prime minister like Berlusconi wouldn’t survive for a minute in a true democracy. He wouldn’t even get to be prime minister.].
