Yours is the only blog in malta that I read. I take it from your reply that there are others, who write anonymously.

I don’t think Mr. Balzan has changed, Another John. It’s business. Malta Today was never the sort of paper that would be popular with the supporters of the party that’s in government while its balanced reporting (criticizing government and opposition in equal measure) did not find much favour with PL supporters either.

Balzan spotted an untapped market, made the necessary shift and now has PL supporters gushing praise and boosting sales.
