Incredible efficiency, but it also shows what enormous amounts of money this thug had stashed away in every corner of the world. Every time there is an article talking about his assets they talk in hundreds of millions, or billions.

Well worth noting that the ferry was chartered. Gonzi makes it sound like he rowed the ferry there and back himself.

This is one way our government can do its bit. Has it been done? Freezing Gaddafi’s assets – if there are any in Maltese banks it does not need airports and missiles. Mr. Prime Minister can we know if there are any of these assets here in Malta?

[Daphne – It is not up to Malta to choose whether or not to freeze those assets. Malta is obliged to do so under UN sanctions.]
